World Cultures Week
This week was amazing! From the moment we walked in on Monday we could tell this week would be different. Hanging from the gallery were the cultural figures drawn by students. The daily news this week featured countries around the world. The fun continued into lunch time with meals from different cultures. My favorite was eating with my students, enjoying the many performances, and watching my students try to use chopsticks! Did I mention I have multi-talented students in my class? You did a fantastic job providing opening entertainment for the assembly on Monday with your Russian dance. So many delicious dishes were prepared for our potluck. Thank you for your hard work! I would love for your child to copy down the recipe and bring it to school! The week was capped off with family night. What did you enjoy this week?
